Testimonials from past and present clients

"When I met Katie 3 months ago I was on the cusp of obesity and needed to change given that middle age was not far off.  Like many people in their 30's I was guilty of relegating exercise and diet into a distant second place in favour of work and family.  I was initially sceptical about the benefits of personal training but signed up for a month long "boot camp" of 4 sessions a week.  it's fair to say my scepticism was entirely misplaced.  In less than 3 months I have lost almost 3 stone in weight and radically improved my overall fitness and well being.  I am now within 6lbs of my ideal weight.  It's almost like being in my early 20's again (well not quite but you know what i mean!)  I now eat really well and am not living on a starvation diet in case you think that might account for the weight loss.  Katie is highly personable and good fun but the real key to her success was finding an exercise regime that worked for me but still "worked." While an element of will power is required when the results are so good it's not hard to stay motivated.  It's now entirely part of my weekly routine and the benefits have been incredible.  Katie also adds variety to the weekly workouts so there is no question of becoming board.

Overall, I could not recommend Katie enough and have no doubt that her business will continue to prosper."

"I trained with Katie Jackson from July 2008 until May 2009 with the goals of improving general levels of fitness, muscle tone and functional fitness for skiing, squash and tennis.  Over this period Katie brought a huge variety of exercises to our sessions, significantly improving the range of activities I could then introduce to my solo training.  She is continually learning new techniques and combines these with tried and tested methods to make interesting and varied workouts.  She is always cheerful and engaging and knows when and how hard to push you.  She is flexible with working around the inevitable occasional changes  to training times.  I can strongly recommend her".

"Katie was excellent at tailoring sessions to my specific requirements and varying exercises to keep sessions interesting.  She encouraged me to work hard without pushing me too far but best of all managed to make training fun."

"I am currently on my second course of personal training with Katie, my first course began when I had returned to training after a serious knee injury and a serious need to get fit.  I had lost my confidence due to my injury and did not want to cause myself any more problems.  Katie gave me a programme which pushed me but I still felt comfortable that I was always able to perform the exercises.  I found that the training sessions were varied and there was always something new for me to try and master.  Katie tailored my programme so that my injury was never aggravated and my confidence returned under her guidance,  like I said I am on my second course of sessions with Katie and I feel my fitness levels are the best they have been in years, to sum up Katie, she is a professional trainer who inspires and understands your needs, but will push you to do the best you can."

"Although I trained each weekday morning, I was in a rut.  I had made great progress in my first three months at the gym, but I had reached a plateau; I was doing the same things every week; progress had stopped.  Training with Katie has transformed me and the way I think about and perform exercise.  Each session is varied, tailored to me and is my best session of the week.  As a result my workouts on other days have improved immensely.  I highly recommend Katie Jackson."

" A great trainer not just for the fit and under thirties, but also for those who've collected injuries and years along the way.  Katie has a real knack for finding work-arounds for bad backs, weak knees - you name it. And for coming up with challenges, delivered with humor and encouragement.  Fantastic to have at your side!"
